The following addendum to Section II consists of deaths suggested by Gazette probate notices. Each describes the deceased as "late of Tisbury," however no corresponding Tisbury death records, gravestones, or Gazette notices ("of" or "in" Tisbury) have been found. I cannot necessarily even conclude that these deaths occurred after 1850, as probate notices often appear years after a death. Probate records at the Courthouse in Edgartown should be checked to verify these claims.
