The Portuguese Genealogy Committee, who in 1996 published Our Portuguese
Heritage, has begun work on a second, and final edition of the genealogy
that will bring family records up to the close of the millennium and include
corrections and additions to the first edition. The committee plans to incorporate
brief family histories and an expanded narrative history of the Vineyard's
Portuguese community as a whole. The committee is currently collecting information
and corrections and would very much appreciate your help!
