Old Brush House, Spring Street, Before the Great Fire


Handwritten Notes: "Samuel N. Brush's fathers house ((Gilbert[?]) Brush) with Store under South side Spring St - where Walter Flanders now has his home (1931). This old house was destroyed by the Great Fire - house of Flanders was built in its place. The old Village...*"


Flagpole was located just East (to the left of house) and its heel is supposed to be buried under Flander's cement walk." . [See v50203.htm for photo.]
