Capt. Jesse Luce was the son of Rowland Luce and Mary Butler of Tisbury. He served as Sergeant in the Sea Coast Defence 1776.
Elizabeth (West) Luce was the daughter of Capt. Peter West and Elizabeth (Athearn) Chase of Tisbury, and the sister of Capt. Jeruel West.
