Samuel Gray came to Tisbury about 1730 and was known as a laborer and husbandman. He was probably the son of Edward and Malatiah Gray of Harwich (Brewster), and he was the husband of Ruth Allen. See The Gray Family of Martha's Vineyard for more information about this family.
