From Methodist Church Steeple

 

This was taken around the turn of the century. The two houses in the lower right (together with a third house further to the right) were moved down to the south end of Main Street, adjacent to the present EduComp building (2000). Lane's Block is the large building on Main Street. This photo was taken from the steeple of the old, wooden Methodist Church, which burned down in 1922.
