Caption: "1907 Sept. Carlton P. Lair 2nd"

Is that some kind of racing rig? What would you call it? Carl Lair later had the "Happy Hollow" farm on Edgartown Road. He died in 1980. His uncle, Carlton Lair "1st" raced horses, as did his father Leroy Lair.
