'Tisbury High Graduates 23 / Reception is Given Senior Class / Special to the Standard-Times / Vineyard Haven, June 16- Twenty-three members of the Tisbury High School Senior Class of 1950 received their diplomas Wednesday night. The diiplomas were presented by Mrs. Manuel S. Duarte, of the Tisbury High School Committee. / The Seniors were costumed in cap and gown, the girls wore white gowns with maroon tassels on their caps, while the boys wore maroon gowns with a white tassel. Maroon and white are the school colors. / The class flower was the red rose and each girl graduate wore a single rose and greens on her shoulder. The class motto, "The beginning or the End," was hung as a back drop and the green and white color scheme was carried out...
